Coming Soon: Career Services' New Facility
The Dyson Center is undergoing an expansion and enhancement that will double its footprint and will be the new home to the Center for Career Services. The new Dyson Center will introduce state-of-the-art resources and innovative academic spaces that will further promote experiential, hands-on learning to the Marist community. The Center for Career Services will soon transform into an inviting, interactive space that is centrally located near the new café, making it the perfect collaborative hub for networking, mentorship experiences, panel events, career fairs, and more.

Career Services
Career Services Available to Students and Alumni
Career Resources: Our team offers books, pamphlets, digital materials, and other resources describing career fields, employment outlook, and emerging career trends. We also offer FOCUS 2, a computer-assisted guidance program with an occupations and graduate school database. The Marist Alumni Career Network assists current students in finding out about the career fields through conversations with alumni.
Career Assessment: Career assessment for students includes inspiring self-assessment, enhancing career decision-making skills, and honing interest identification.
Pre-Professional and Graduate School Advisement: For students looking into pre-professional and graduate school programs, we spend one-on-one time with individual students assisting with school choices, applications, entrance examinations and studying, preparation of registration materials, as well as our annual Graduate School Forum.
Career Courses: Marist College offers a number of career courses designed to help students in all stages of their collegiate experience to pursue their ideal career path.
Job Search Preparation: Our team assists in resume development, cover letter writing, interview preparation, and job research skills. We help students create a thorough job search plan and identify potential employers.
Employment Services: We offer internship and career opportunities, job-hunting directories, brochures, and employer information. Our team organizes on-campus interviews, as well as the Fall and Spring Career and Internship Fairs, which have had great success in pairing students with the perfect post-graduation internship or job.
