Marist’s Fashion Program was one of 10 colleges and universities in the world named one of the "Best Colleges That Are Shaping The Future Of Fashion" by Forbes. The premier industry publication Business of Fashion has released its Global Ranking of Fashion Schools and Marist College is top-ranked in the following categories:

Marist's  School of Communication & the Arts is ranked as the "Best School for a Degree in Digital Media" by Study.com

The Games and Emerging Media program was lauded by The Princeton Review as one of the top gaming design programs for undergraduates. Marist has earned this ranking each year since 2016. The list ranks top college programs for video game design based on institutional survey data, including academic offerings in game design, faculty credentials, and career outcomes. 

 

MBA Central's "The 20 Best New York Online MBA Degree Programs" placed Marist as the top online MBA program in New York.  Marist's online MBA program was additionally ranked in U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Online Education Program,” and Fortune Education recently named Marist College’s fully online MBA program as one of the Best Regional Online MBA Programs in the Northeast.

Marist educates approximately 5,000 traditional-age undergraduate students and 1,400 adult and graduate students in 47 undergraduate majors and numerous graduate programs, including fully online MBA, MPA, MS, and MA degrees.

Institutional Rankings & Distinctions

Marist is again one of a small group of schools included in the 2nd edition of The Princeton Review's  Colleges That Create Futures: 50 Schools That Launch Careers By Going Beyond the Classroom, along with such top schools as Duke, Stanford, and Columbia. The Princeton Review cited Marist's leadership development, internship opportunities, campus work opportunities, such as the Marist Poll, and career development resources.

U.S News World Report ranks Marist the 10th Best College in the Regional Universities (North) classification.

For the eleventh consecutive year, Kiplinger’s Personal Finance has included Marist on its list of the country’s 'Best Values in Private Colleges'.

Forbes magazine ranks Marist on its list of 'America's Top Colleges'.

Marist has been named a Military Friendly School by Victory Media, which publishes G.I. Jobs, STEM JobsSM, and Military Spouse. First published in 2009, the list of Military Friendly Schools is provided to service members and their families, helping them select the best college, university, or trade school to receive the education and training needed to pursue a civilian career.

International Education

The U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs recently identified Marist as a 'U.S. Student Top Producer' (click on 'Master's Colleges & Universities'), making it one of the U.S. colleges and universities that produced the most 2015-2016 Fulbright U.S. Students

Marist College is again among the nation’s leading colleges and universities for international education, according to the Open Doors Report from the Institute of International Education. Marist ranked nationally among Master’s Colleges & Universities:

 

  • 3rd for the number of students engaged in semester study abroad

  • 4th for the number of students engaged in long-term study abroad (full academic year)

  • 16th for the total number of students participating in study abroad programs

  • 23rd for the rate of undergraduate participation in study abroad programs

Marist has the world's 22nd best undergraduate fashion program, according to top industry website The Business of Fashion.
